Unlike its South Pacific neighbours, the islands of Vanuatu have few good beaches and only a handful of beach resorts appealing to holiday-makers. There are however a couple of gems noted below. Please note wedding applications should be lodged at least 28 days before the date of wedding which means posting application forms before you leave home. Couples getting married must be in Vanuatu at least three days prior to the wedding ceremony. Most resorts offer beach weddings, but village weddings or ceremonies at Cascades Waterfall in Efate can also be organized.
