Resort Information
Accommodation at the Melanesian Hotel is in four room categories, all over three 3-storey wings with most rooms overlooking the swimming pool. The most affordable rooms, the Hibiscus Rooms, are suitable for two people only and offer amply spacious interiors with self catering facilities and large bathrooms. Orchid Rooms have air-conditioning with balconies overlooking the pool and can sleep two adults and two children in the lounge area.
The 1- and 2-Bedroom Apartments are fully self contained with kitchens (gas stove, fridge, microwave, utensils) and washing machines in the main bathroom. Each has a master bedroom with ensuite, with 2-bedroom apartments having an additional room with three single beds.
The Melanesian is strong on cultural representation and has daily Kava drink tastings beside the swimming pool from 6pm-7pm and three buffet BBQ dinners with traditional dance performances (Wed, Fri & Sun).
